  • Describe caring attributes of the culture where you currently practice. Which attributes stand out as having significant influence on patients, nurses, and other healthcare professionals?
  • How do you see effective communication relating to patient outcomes in this setting? What is the evidence for this?

Solution

There are various attributes of caring that define the culture of my place of work. Nonetheless, the main attributes are commitment, compassion, and competence. Commitment has been described as the aspect of being dedicated to a particular cause. In this view, in my place of work, this aspect is typically demonstrated by nurses in a wide range of ways. These include working overtime as well as pursuing educational programs for the purpose of having a better understanding of the nursing profession. When it comes to the aspect of compassion, it usually involves showing empathy or concern for people who are suffering (Morton, Fontaine, Hudak, & Gallo, 2017).  As such, in my place of work, this aspect is demonstrated by nurses, where they give the patients positive experiences during treatment…..Please click the icon below to purchase full solution at $5
