In recent years, the shift from teacher-centered to learning-centered has been a key trend that has been impacting higher education. Ideally, the learning paradigm focuses on the efficient as well as the effectiveness of the learning process regarding what the learners know and how they can utilize the new information. In light of this, I do agree with the statement that “Teachers don’t fail students; students fail themselves.” Students are responsible for their learning.
