American Cancer Society (ACS) has for a long time provided free information relating to cancer through its website and free toll line.  Through these platforms,  ACS is able to provide support to the cancer patients and their families with information regarding the type of cancers, how to stay healthy,  treatment options, how to cope with the side effects, the financial matter relating to cancer as well as emotional support (American Cancer Society, 2018).  ACS also provides free transport to treatment and a free place to stay in case the place of treatment is away from the home.  In addition, support for understanding diagnosis is provided to the family, patients, and the caregivers.
