The evidence to guide nursing practice has changed greatly during the 20th century. Select one area where evidence in nursing care changed during the 20th century and tell us about it.

One area where evidence in nursing care changed during the 20th century is infection control. During the 20th century, deaths from infectious diseases have reduced significantly in the U.S. The reduction is due to the improvement in sanitation and hygiene.
