Solution:

Journal Entry: Group Therapy

Group therapy is a kind of therapy that focuses on treatment of two or more members with similar or closely linked problems. It emphasizes on the dynamic interaction of the group members as guided by the therapeutic principles of universality, altruism, hope instillation, imparting information, interpersonal learning, corrective recapitulation, and development of sociable behaviors (Dobson & Dobson, 2018). The focus of this journal entry is to documenting a group therapy session using two clients who attended the same group therapy. It provides a description of each client including pertinent history, explanation and justification of their diagnosis with reference to the DSM-5, explanation of effectiveness of cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) with the group, and the legal-ethical implications.
