Solution:

There are various types of political systems. They include democracy, authoritarianism, and totalitarianism. Albeit totalitarianism and authoritarianism appear similar, the former exercises a greater degree of control extending into the private lives of its citizens (Whitman, 2019). Every aspect of the public and private life becomes politicized. This political system is characterized by violence as the government exercises indiscriminate mass genocide and terror against labeled saboteurs, spies, counterrevolutionaries, and enemies. North Korea is one of the oldest totalitarian states still in existence today. The government, led by Kim Jong Un, practices mass mobilization via the one-party system, The Supreme leader serves as the face of the regime and is highly exhorted as a godlike man. The state uses censorship and propaganda that is exceedingly effective and sophisticated (Magstadt, 2017). The article analyzed herein explores possible reasons why there are conflicting reports of coronavirus cases in North Korea. One of the most outstanding achievements of the North Korean regime is its ability to control movement within its citizens. This very fact may be the reason why the country is yet to record even a single case of coronavirus within its borders. Then again, it could be the fact that the propaganda and censorship apparatus is working to keep the public from learning about these cases to avoid panic.
