Decision One: Differential Diagnosis: Cyclothymic disorder

As described by Van Meter et al. (2018), Cyclothymic disorder is a mild type of bipolar disorder in which the client’s experiences mood swings for 2 years. The patient does not meet the DSM-5 diagnostic criteria for depression and neither does she fit for hypomania.
