Nursing history is not just about the past and famous people; it is being made by nurses every day. What nurse do you know personally who is making nursing history today? Describe the contributions that this specific nurse is making to impact nursing and nursing history today.


It is highly crucial to develop current and future nursing leaders for the benefit of nursing practice and population health. The nurse that I know is making a change and nursing history today is Lauren Ashley Underwood, an American nurse who is currently the representative of Illinois’ 14th district and a member of the Democratic Party.
