Solution:

Conflict Resolution

Conflict in the healthcare setting is usually considered inevitable. This is according to Finkelman (2016), who has espose that over the last couple of years, there has been more conflict in the healthcare delivery environment owing to increased work stress as well as ineffective communication.  The impact of conflict on delivery of healthcare services can be detrimental to a huge extent. This is due to the fact that it leads to reduced productivity and dysfunctional organizations. Therefore, solving conflict amicably is considered critical in ensuring that delivery of services is not compromised. In this understanding, this essay seeks to vividly explore a recurring conflict in my workplace setting, and how it can be resolved.

Description of the Conflict

In my facility just like in other healthcare facilities, it is a fact that nurses usually work around the clock in order to ensure that patients are looked after always. While some nurses are responsible for caring for the patients overnight, others are in charge of the patients during the day.  However, I have witnesses various occasions where two nurses in charge of the same patient, but different times disagree leading to serious conflicts. For instance, a night time nurse may be dissatisfied with the way the day time nurse works….Please click the icon below to purchase full solution at $10
