This course has challenged me to reflect on my role in informatics and the meaningful use of electronic health records systems. First, I have learned about the role of data-driven decision-making and the role of informatics.    For instance, I learned several aspects about HER and the software features which I believe are critical in implementing necessary IT infrastructure in healthcare. The use of informatics in healthcare can help in improving practice by ensuring that the intervention is informed by data.  It was evident through this class that with technology decisions can be made based on facts as opposed to intuition.  Through this, it will be easier for me to optimize the IT system for point……….
