The nursing theory used to frame the nursing research by Barutcu and Mert (2016) in their article is the Neuman Systems Model (NSM). This is a model that is used by the caregiving as well as the administrative staff members to bring about positive client outcomes. The key emphasis of this model is the patient’s individuality or taking into consideration the unique circumstances and the background of the client. This theory is therefore based on a person’s relationship to stress, how he or she reacts to it, and reconstitution factors that are dynamic in nature.
